Shed Pads

At Firm Foundations, we specialize in both gravel and concrete pads for sheds.

Here is what goes into preparing a gravel pad:

- Basic site grading

- Placing 4 x 6 timbers and anchoring them with 2′ rebar

- Corners are pinned together using 10″ galvanized spikes

- Fill with 3/4 clean stone, leveled to accommodate your new shed

And here is what goes into pouring a basic concrete pad:

- Grade site and scrape off grass and topsoil

- Put down a stone base, grade and tamp stone

- Install moisture barrier

- Install wire mesh or place rebar every 2′ each way

- Form up for concrete

- Pour concrete and trowel for finished product

- Install hurricane straps or anchor bolts, if needed
